Are you frustrated by lack of financial abundance, despite having done mountains of inner healing work around self-worth and deservingness, not to mention having said positive abundance affirmations till the cows come home, yet nothing much changes? In fact you may actually have spent many thousands of dollars trying to figure out why financial abundance continues to elude you, which can put you even further behind financially. Maybe your “financial abundance” endeavors have temporarily helped and some more money has come in, only to be whipped away from you unceremoniously by a sudden flood of unexpected bills. Arrgh!
I really get that because that has been such a strong pattern in my life – a roller coaster ride of financial upswings, only to be followed closely by the “bad luck” downslides of sudden costly mechanical breakdowns, other unexpected bills and a string of clients reluctantly cancelling their appointments.
No, just in case you are wondering, I’ll not giving you some sales pitch in the lead up to some expensive coaching program or product I am launching. This is just purely from my heart, as recently I had a huge “Ah Ha” moment that I want to share with you in the hope that you may resonate with it too.
As a clinical hypnotherapist I know that the conscious mind is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the mind. At least 90% of the mind is entirely subconscious and where all the beliefs and patterns that were formed in early childhood continue to run the show. But it goes even deeper than the subconscious mind. The soul contains memories from previous incarnations that can still be adversely affecting us in our current lifetime. Yes, I had already done heaps of work around past lives and financial abundance, even cutting ties to vows of poverty, etc., but it still felt like there was an elusive missing part to the puzzle.
Sometimes the answer is as plain as the nose on your face, yet we still fail to see it. That was me. Often in therapy sessions with clients I work with the higher realms to clear subconscious patterns around ancestral beliefs on both the matrilineal and patrilineal lines, from what I sense is the level of the DNA. These beliefs are the unhelpful kind that are irrelevant, outmoded, outdated and just plain pesky and can keep playing out in our lives in destructive patterns that have no apparent logic.
I am a late Baby Boomer and the child of older parents, who first met each other while living in London during World War II: my Dad was stationed there with the Royal Australian Air Force; and my Mum was living away from her poor farming family for the first time. Bombing raids were frequent so the possibility that neither of my parents-to-be would survive to the next day were very real. Food rationing was in place. You could not be greedy and steal someone else’s ration or they might die of starvation. Everything was in short supply.
My Dad was born during World War I, the son of a Church of England Minister who volunteered on the front lines in Europe as a chaplain. During the Great Depression this grandfather of mine and his wife ran a soup kitchen to feed the poorest of the poor in Melbourne.
The messages I had absorbed at the deepest levels from at least two generations of ancestors on both sides were around poverty, personal sacrifice, hardship, struggle, survival and selfless serving. No wonder I had felt stuck in some kind of self-sabotage pattern that made sure “excess” money coming in would very quickly go out in unexpected bills. Subconsciously I felt guilty if I wasn’t making a personal sacrifice and serving selflessly in poverty. No amount of someone telling me how many more people I could reach and help if I were making more money was going to change a thing financially until I addressed at least the last two generations of my family lineage beliefs.
Asking for guidance from the higher realms as to how to disentangle myself from irrelevant, outdated ancestral beliefs around financial abundance and survival, I was guided to use one of my personal favorite fun and very powerful processes. I would like to share with you. (You can use it for any issue at all.)
Dump Truck of Rubbish into the Desert
- Take some nice deep relaxing breaths to settle yourself in a quiet space
- Imagine yourself standing next to a big empty dump truck.
- All around you on the ground and/or attached to you are representations of the particular thing you are letting go of. (In this case it was all my ancestral beliefs limiting my financial abundance all through my matrilineal and patrilineal lines. These beliefs appeared to me as bags I was holding and as large rocks on the ground.)
- With a bit of angelic help if necessary, dump all of that old “stuff” into the back of the dump truck.
- Drive that truck into the center of the desert; back it up to the side of the road and raise the back of the dump truck, so all of that old rubbish comes tumbling out onto the ground with a big clatter.
- Set six sticks of dynamite with very long fuses into the pile of all of the old energetic rubbish. Light the dynamite and then drive at least a kilometer away.
- Get out of the truck just in time to see and hear the pile of all of that old rubbish in the distance explode up into the sky in a massive fireball. All of that old stuff just blasted to smithereens. Wait and watch until the cloud of dark smoke dissipates and that whole area where you dumped the stuff is now glistening clear and open.
Of course you can get creative and add to the above technique, but that is the nuts and bolts of it. I recommend you tackle one issue at a time using this technique, rather than trying to do everything you want to let go of in your life in one hit! Usually once is enough, but if you don’t feel you experienced a definite energetic release at the point of the explosion, then by all means try this technique again for the same issue.
Let me know how you get on!
Of course if you feel you need some extra help with this, I’m always delighted to help you in a private healing consultation.
