Releasing Negative Emotions

... We all create our own "Individual map of reality" or fill up our "gunny sacks" (with negative emotions) as we go through life.

Since we have suffered and paid a price for these, because of what we have been through and endured, we convince ourselves that these negative emotions are ours and that nobody is going to talk us out of them. The ego clings on to them and would have us believe that this gunny sack is like ammunition and is needed for our protection. The truth is that we can only move forward and develop our true potential in direct proportion to the amount of negative emotions we are willing to release.

Holding on to them is like driving a car with the emergency or handbrake on. Have you ever driven along in your car and felt it was going slow and sluggish, put your foot down and still not increased your speed much, then looking down, realized that your emergency brake was still on? Then when you released your emergency brake the car began to perform as it should? This is exactly what happens with your life when you hold onto negative emotions. It's like driving your life with the brakes on.

Of course it's possible to move forward slowly, however, just as the stress and the strain on the engine and other parts of the car will cause damage and wear it out, equally the negative emotions are what tire and wear us out.

When you observe negative emotions and feelings consciously, without reacting to them, they eventually lose their power and fall away. Simply observe, don't get involved, don't try and stop the emotion, just curiously observe where it is coming from. You will probably recognize these emotions by a feeling somewhere in your body. Just simply observe with curiosity like a child does when discovering something new and intriguing.

When you consciously observe something that is not good and healthy for you it will automatically fall away. LifeFlow Meditation 2.0 allows you to become proficient at doing this over time. As suppressed emotions fall away your tolerance levels will be raised through increasing synchrony in the brain.

There are two major effects of reorganization and increased synchrony in the brain.

Second. Every time the neural structure changes, positive changes in mental and emotional health take place. As the brain reorganizes at the next level of functioning, the individuals map of reality changes with it.

With the creation of new neural pathways, more connections are perceived  between bits of information that formerly seemed unrelated, and more choices are presented.

Herein lies the theoretical explanation for the amazing personality changes that researchers have reported in people using this kind of sound technology to alter brain wave patterns.
 
The ability to map and entrain brain waves and the states they represent, gives us a powerful new tool to effect human change and growth.
